HC Deb 11 May 1951 vol 487 c275W
Mr. Vosper

asked the Minister of Pensions how many pensions were awarded in cases of schizophrenia in the years 1946, 1947 and 1948.

Mr. Isaacs

In the records kept by my Department schizophrenia is grouped with other diseases of a psychotic nature. It is estimated, however, that in the years mentioned the numbers of first awards of pension for this disease were 200, 250 and 130 respectively.
