§ Mr. J. Morrisonasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether the canteens in Government Departments are self-supporting; and whether anything is charged for the accommodation and heating and lighting and any general equipment provided.
§ Mr. JayAt present there is a difference between non-industrial and industrial canteens. The former pay for heating, lighting and equipment; the latter do not. No charge is made for accommodation in use by either class of canteen.
