HC Deb 02 May 1951 vol 487 c144W
44. Sir R. Acland

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will make a statement on the problems of financing the Cameroons Development Corporation, showing particularly, whether it has been possible, or shortly will be possible, to overcome the difficulties which, at the date of the Corporations last report, stood in the way of raising the long-term loan of £750,000 which the report showed to be necessary.

Mr. J. Griffiths

Provision has been made in the loan programme of the Nigerian Government for the current financial requirements of the Cameroons Development Corporation.
