HC Deb 21 March 1951 vol 485 c284W
75. Mr. Studholme

asked the Minister of Food what is the value of the weekly meat ration which agricultural workers living at the Agricultural Workers Hostel at Ivybridge, and similar hostels, receive.

Mr. Webb

Meat is supplied to workers' hostels, including hostels for agricultural workers, according to the number of main meals served. The present rate is about 1½d. worth per main meal.
