asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what are the honoraria allowed to the mayor and deputy mayor of Lagos, Nigeria, respectively.

As regards the mayor's remuneration, I have nothing to add at present to the information given in the reply of 28th February to my hon. Friend the Member for Swindon (Mr. T. Reid); nor have I any information at present about proposals for the remuneration of the deputy mayor.
