§ 79. Mr. Butcherasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is now in a position to make a statement with regard to the discharge of amounts due to persons whose claims have been agreed in the business and private chattels scheme of war insurance.
§ Mr. BottomleyThe general payment of claims under the private chattels scheme provided for in Part II of the War Damage Act, 1943, was made in July, 1947. As regards claims under the business scheme, I cannot at present add to the answer given on 27th February to my hon. Friend the Member for Bristol, Central (Mr. Awbery).
