§ 89. Mr. Watkinsonasked the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations if he will take steps to secure the maximum integration of the economic and industrial resources of the Commonwealth at the earliest possible moment.
§ Mr. Gordon-WalkerAs the hon. Member is aware, it rests with each Member of the Commonwealth to decide its economic and financial policy and the use of its resources. There is, I can assure the hon. Member, already full co-operation between the Members of the Commonwealth on all economic questions. It is the policy of the United Kingdom Government to maintain and, where necessary, to improve this.
