§ 150. Mr. Spenceasked the Secretary of State for Air how far the plans for the new 2,000-yard runway at Dyce airport, Aberdeenshire, entail the demolition of any existing dwelling-houses and the closing of any existing rights of way.
§ Mr. A. HendersonA survey of Dyce airfield is now being carried out in connection with my Department's plans and until this is complete it is not possible to say with certainty which dwelling-houses will be affected. The development of the airfield will involve closing a number of highways some of which are only footpaths, and I am consulting my right hon. Friend the Minister of Transport about what can be done to minimise the consequent inconvenience.
