HC Deb 13 March 1951 vol 485 c153W
145. Mr. N. Macpherson

asked the Minister of Agriculture what period of quarantine is to be undergone by the reindeer he proposes to introduce into Scotland on their arrival in the United Kingdom.

Mr. G. Brown

The quarantine requirements and other animal health safeguards cannot be prescribed until details of the proposed importation are submitted to my right hon. Friend by the sponsors of this project, but, amongst other things, strict quarantine for not less than 28 days will certainly be required.
