HC Deb 08 March 1951 vol 485 cc95-6W
120. Mr. Dye

asked the Minister of Food whether he is aware that compounders of animal feedingstuffs in this country find great difficulty in securing manganese for inclusion in their mixtures; and whether, in view of the fact that manganese constitutes an important mineral constituent in certain animal feedingstuffs, he will say what steps he proposes to take to enable the compounders to overcome this difficulty.

Mr. F. Willey

I am not aware that compounders of animal feedingstuffs are having difficulty in securing supplies of manganese but if my hon. Friend has received a complaint and will let me know the name of the compounder, I will gladly arrange for the matter to be investigated.
