HC Deb 05 March 1951 vol 485 cc10-1W
Mr. Janner

asked the Minister of National Insurance whether she is satisfied that she has now obtained all the local accommodation needed to carry out the work of her Department expeditiously and to the greatest convenience of the public.

Mr. B. Taylor

No. Although most National Insurance local offices are satisfactory and in situations convenient to the public, the shortage of office accommodation in general makes it necessary in some cases for my Department to continue the temporary use of unsuitable premises. In these cases other premises, will, in the public interest, be taken as and when they can be secured.
