§ Mr. Hollisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will make a statement on the changes which it is proposed to introduce into the disciplinary system of approved schools, as a result of the report of the official 162W committee which recently considered this problem.
§ Mr. Ede:The Committee on Offences and Punishments in Prisons, Borstals, Approved Schools and Remand Homes has only recently submitted Parts III and IV of its report, dealing with approved schools and remand homes. These parts of the report have not yet been published, and I am not yet in a position to make a statement on the recommendations.
