HC Deb 26 June 1951 vol 489 cc125-6W
102. Mr. Houghton

asked the Minister of Works whether he is aware that the sticky-board method of catching mice recently employed by his Department in the office of His Majesty's Inspector of Taxes, 29, Camberwell Road, S.E.5, has been followed by a protest by the staff against the cruelty involved; and whether he will cause more humane methods of destruction to be used in future.

Mr. G. Brown

No. I am not aware of any protest and I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply given by my predecessor to the hon. Member for Ton-bridge (Mr. G. Williams), on 26th June of last year.
