HC Deb 26 June 1951 vol 489 c121W
82. Mr. McAdden

asked the Minister of Local Government and Planning whether he will consider issuing building licences directly to owners of plots who have secured planning permission from the appropriate local authority whilst resident in another local authority area.

Mr. Dalton

No. This is a matter for the local authorities, and, if both authorities agree, a licence issued to one area can be issued to another.

86. Mr. Perkins

asked the Minister of Local Government and Planning how many private building licences have been allocated to Stroud Urban District Council for the last three consecutive years.

Mr. Dalton

Six, twenty-one and four, respectively.
