Mr. Philips Priceasked the Minister of Agriculture what is the present position with regard to the control of the manufacture of veterinary therapeutic substances and the prescribing of standards and tests of purity for such substances.
Mr. T. WilliamsA draft order on this subject was circulated last year to the interests concerned for their comments. A number of amendments were suggested and a revised draft order was subsequently prepared. I expect to receive final comments on the revised draft within the next few weeks, and I hope that it will then be possible to proceed with the making of the Order.
