Mr. Morleyasked the Minister of Education how many local authorities have, since the coming into force of the 1944 Act, obtained powers by private Acts to continue the system by which a parent who accepted a place for his child in a grammar school undertook a legal obligation to leave him there until the end of the year in which he attained the age of 16.
