HC Deb 20 June 1951 vol 489 c47W
2. Mr. Roland Robinson

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what progress has been made by Mr. J. S. McCorkle, of the Economic Co-operation Administration, in his study of the cattle pasturage of British Guiana; and whether it is proposed to make public his report and recommendations.

Mr. Dugdale

Mr. McCorkle visited the Colony at the end of April and has submitted an interim report which is now being considered. He will pay another visit in September to continue investigations. My right hon. Friend is consulting the Government of British Guiana about the publication of the report.
