Mr. Sorensenasked the Minister of Local Government and Planning how many local authorities have now made effective arrangements for co-operation with other local authorities or for joint consolidation of lists of housing applicants with a view to meeting their housing needs more equitably; how many local authorities have now exhausted or are shortly exhausting sites for house-building; and, in particular, what progress has been made in discussions on site availability between the Essex County Council and Essex boroughs.
