§ Mr. S. Marshallasked the Minister of Local Government and Planning if he will state the terms and conditions of appointment of the chairman of the Stevenage Development Corporation.
§ Mr. Dalton:The appointment of members of development corporations and their tenure of office is dealt with in the Second Schedule to the New Towns Act, 1946. The late chairman of the Stevenage Corporation was appointed to be a member and chairman of that Corporation on 26th October, 1949, for a period of three years at a salary of £1,500 a year, with official expenses on the scale of temporary Government commissions.
