Mrs. Hillasked the Minister of Fuel and Power if he will give an assurance that shop window and sign lighting will be possible in the darker days later in the year to enable shopping to be conducted in greater comfort than was possible last winter.
§ Mr. P. Noel-Baker:As the hon. Lady will agree, it is of the greatest importance to reduce the frequency and severity of power cuts. I am now considering what measures will be required to enable this to be done.
