§ 51. Captain Ryderasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what progress has been made in the proceedings instituted at the International Court of Justice at the Hague by the British Government on 30th September, 1949, against the Norwegian Government in connection with the long standing dispute over fishing rights off the Norwegian coast; and how many cases of arrest in the disputed areas now await the outcome of these proceedings.
§ Mr. Younger:The written pleadings have now been completed. It is expected that the Court will hear the oral pleadings in September, and judgment may be given at about the end of this year. The answer to the second part of the Question is "13."
