§ Mr. StracheyHis Majesty has approved the wearing of a special emblem by officers and other ranks while serving with the 1st Battalion the Gloucestershire Regiment and "C" Troop, 170th Independent Mortar Battery, Royal Regiment of Artillery. The emblem will also 155W continue to be worn by those who were present in these units in the action in Korea, irrespective of the unit in which they may be serving. The emblem will take the form of a strip of blue watered silk ribbon within a gold frame and will be worn horizontally near the top of each sleeve.
