70. Major Lloydasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury what has been the total cost of the Industrial Paid Sick Leave Scheme operated in certain Government establishments for the 12 months ended August, in the years 1948–49, 1949–50, and for each month since September, 1950.
§ Mr. JayNo central records are kept of sick absence in Government industrial establishments from which the total cost could be calculated, and I do not think that a special inquiry would be justified at the present time.
