Thomasasked the Minister of Health whether he is aware of the distress caused in the Cardiff, West, constituency by certain dentists who refuse to give immediate treatment under the terms of the National Health Scheme to people suffering from acute toothache but who offer to give the necessary treatment if the patient makes a cash payment of 12s. 6d.; and what action he proposes to take in this connection.
§ Mr. BlenkinsopNo; persons in urgent need of emergency treatment should get in touch with the Executive Council, who will always help them find a dentist who will provide the necessary treatment under the National Health Service.
