§ 94. Mr. G. Williamsasked the Minister of Food if he can now give an assurance that he has sufficient tinplate to enable this season's fruit crop to be canned.
§ 103. Mr. Hareasked the Minister of Food whether he is now in a position to release more tinplate to fruit-canning factories in order that adequate arrangements can be made to preserve this year's crop.
§ Mr. WebbAs we do not yet know how much fruit will be available for canning, I am unable to give the assurance asked for; but there should be enough tinplate to pack as much as last year.
