§ Mr. BottomleyI am sending the hon. Member a statement giving all the details which are available of exports to the U.S.S.R. in 1950; no figures are yet available for January, 1951. It is not possible to say exactly what constitutes "materials which could be used for strategic war purposes," but the hon. Member is aware that goods of significant strategic importance are subject to control.
