asked the Minister of Fuel and Power how many ex-miners have returned from the Services to the coal mines; and how many of these are face workers.

During the last six years 58,300 ex-miners have returned to the collieries from the Services, including 1,174 who returned in 1950. I have no information about how many of these were face-workers, nor have I as yet any information about the number who have returned this year.
