asked the Minister of Fuel and Power whether, in appealing for economy in the use of electricity, he intends those consumers whose contracts require them to consume or pay for a minimum quantity of current to consume if possible less than that minimum.

Yes. I understand that the area electricity boards' are giving sympathetic consideration to any application for a minimum guarantee to be suspended during the period of the present fuel economy campaign.
