§ Mr. J. GriffithsThe Uganda Farmers' Union never applied for registration under the Uganda law. During 1948 officers of the Co-operative Department fully explained the advantages of registration under the Co-operative Societies Ordinance to individual groups of farmers connected with the Union. None of these groups would agree to be registered or followed the advice given to them.
