HC Deb 15 February 1951 vol 484 c85W
65. Mr. Cooper-Key

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he has under consideration the damage to farming land caused annually in parts of East Sussex by the overflowing of the River Rother and its tributaries; and what measures he is taking to prevent recurrences.

Mr. T. Williams

I understand that the Kent River Board, the statutory drainage authority concerned, has under consideration a scheme for dealing with this problem.
