§ 125. Mr. Rankinasked the Minister of Transport when it is proposed to publish the report of the inquiry, held on 20th October, 1950, into a series of bus accidents which occurred in Glasgow in August, 1950.
§ Mr. BarnesIt is not the practice to publish reports of inquiries held under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Act, 1930, and I do not propose to make an exception in the present case. My main purpose in directing this inquiry was to ascertain whether there was any single factor common to these regrettable accidents on which any remedial action would be based. I may add that charges of careless driving were brought in the courts against three of the drivers concerned, the decisions of the courts being respectively "Guilty," "Not Guilty" and "Not Proven."
