§ 84. Mr. Awberyasked the Secretary of State for War if he is aware of the hardship which will accrue to officers who have to purchase uniforms when they are recalled for training; and if he will provide free the minimum uniform required for this period, such as battledress, shirts and headgear.
§ Mr. M. StewartFor their own comfort and convenience, as well as for reasons of economy, officers recalled for training will be asked to bring any uniform in their possession. Any necessary items of clothing, including badges of rank, which they may still require will, however, be issued to them on loan for the period of training.
