§ Sir W. Wakefieldasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, having regard to the serious effect upon a large number of medium-sized and smaller manufacturers of the shortage of certain raw materials and the restrictions to be imposed on the use of certain nonferrous metals as from 1st February next, he will now give the National Union of Manufacturers an opportunity to nominate a representative of those manufacfacturers for appointment by him to the National Production Advisory Council of Industry.
