§ Mr. Ellis Smithasked the Minister of Fuel and Power if he will set out in tabular form each National Coal Board division, and give the average pithead price of coal, price to factor, factors' price to merchant, merchants' selling price and price paid by domestic consumer, giving figures respectively for the distribution of coal by the National Coal Board and the private coal distributive concerns.
§ Mr. P. Noel-BakerThe National Coal Board publishes figures showing the average proceeds per ton of all saleable coal for each division in the Quarterly Statistical Statement of the Costs of Production Proceeds and Profit or Loss of Collieries. I regret that figures showing the average proceeds per ton from sales of domestic coals or the average prices paid by factors, merchants and consumers are not available.
