§ 135. Mr. McInnesasked the Minister of Transport what progress has been made in his negotiations with Glasgow Corporation regarding the proposed Linthouse-Whiteinch tunnel.
§ Mr. BarnesFollowing on a meeting with my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland and myself, the Corporation of Glasgow have made a further submission in regard to this scheme. This has been fully considered, but I regret that the Government cannot approve the commencement of the scheme in the present situation.
