§ 100. Mr. Gammansasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if any decision has yet been reached as to whether Nkrumah is eligible to stand as a candidate for the forthcoming elections in the Gold Coast.
§ Mr. J. GriffithsMr. Nkrumah has been nominated as candidate for Accra Municipality and his papers have been accepted by the Returning Officer. Any question of the qualification or disqualification of a Member of the Assembly can be determined only by the Supreme Court after the election on an election petition.
