HC Deb 04 December 1951 vol 494 c245W
146. Mr. G. R. Howard

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government how soon he expects to be able to announce the Government's decision on the Admiralty's proposed establishment of a torpedo-dropping range in Falmouth Bay.

Mr. H. Macmillan

It has been decided to approve the proposals for a torpedo-dropping range in Falmouth Bay on the understanding that the Admiralty will find another site for a torpedo-recovery depot outside the Helford River. Letters are being sent to the local authorities concerned today.
