HC Deb 04 December 1951 vol 494 c217W
74. Group Captain Wilcock

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware of the decline in the internal trade of the country during the past few weeks which is viewed with alarm by manufacturers and retailers alike; and if he will consider making a statement as to the steps His Majesty's Government propose to take to arrest what will otherwise become a serious trade depression.

Mr. H. Strauss

I would refer the hon. and gallant Member to the reply given to my hon. Friend the Member for Heston and Isleworth (Mr. R. Harris) on 29th November.
