130. Mr. Short

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will make a special allocation of houses to the Newcastle-upon-Tyne housing authority to enable them to commence the block flat scheme or the Longbenton Estate in addition to the normal housing programme.

Not specifically for this purpose, but I shall be willing to consider an extra allocation for all housing purposes in accordance with progress made.
