asked the Minister of Agriculture if his discussions with the National Farmers' Union on the protection of sheep from killer dogs have now finished; and if he will make a statement.

No. The National Farmers' Union made a preliminary approach to the Department about a week ago, but I understand they are not yet ready to begin more comprehensive discussions.
