asked the Secretary of State for War whether he will now direct the officer commanding, Trawsfynydd Range, Merioneth, to make arrangements for the neighbouring farmers to use the road now closed to them, when firing is not taking place.

Mr. Strachey

Yes. Although an alternative to the use of this road exists, I appreciate the need to keep it open when firing is not taking place. As soon as satisfactory arrangements can be made to ensure the safety of those using the road, it will be closed only during firing.
