§ Mr. StracheyThe hon. Member will be aware of the lack of information on the numbers of those missing in Korea who are now held as prisoners of war. Up to 29th July, 15 other ranks had been reported as prisoners of war in the Korean operations, and 48 officers and 1,044 other ranks reported as missing. Of the latter, 9 officers and 136 other ranks are classified as believed prisoners of war; 5 officers and 24 other ranks as believed killed; and 13 other ranks as believed wounded.
