Mr. P. Noel-Baker

I am making inquiries and will write to the hon. Member as soon as possible.

Mr. Bossom

asked the Minister of Fuel and Power if he is aware that it is now taking at least three weeks for coal to come from the collieries to the coal merchants of Maidstone, and this is making it difficult or impossible for householders to build up their stocks for the winter; and what steps he proposes to take to deal with the matter.

Mr. P. Noel-Baker

I am making inquiries and will write to the hon. Member as soon as possible.
