§ Mr. Bossomasked the Minister of Health how many practising chiropodists there are at this time in Great Britain: and how many of these are unregistered.
§ Mr. MarquandI have no information on the number of chiropodists practising. The only register apart from those kept by professional organisations, is that maintained by the Board of Registration of Medical Auxiliaries, a voluntary body; there are about 4,200 names on it.
§ Mr. Bossomasked the Minister of Health if his regulations define as appropriate qualification for employment as a chiropodist under the National Health Service two years' training under a qualified instructor, which qualification is now accepted by the London County Council.
§ Mr. MarquandI have made no regulations defining the qualifications of chiropodists in the National Health Service.
