§ 28. Mr. Errollasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what is the purpose of refusing licences for the export from the Gold Coast of second-hand machinery until every effort has been made to dispose of the plant within the Colony; under what statute this restriction is enforced; and whether he will give an assurance that no export licence will be refused when it can be shown that the export price is higher than any comparable price within the Colony.
