§ Mr. BarnesI am anxious that the best possible use should be made of this subway when it is closed for trams and I am giving close personal consideration to the question in consultation with the British Transport Commission and the London County Council. The question is difficult and requires considerable investigation and it may be some time before any definite conclusions can be reached.
