§ Mr. BottomleyThe marking of a specific class of imported goods with an indication of origin can be required only by an Order in Council under the Merchandise Marks Act, 1926, and Orders in Council can be made only after an application by a substantial trade interest has been the subject of a favourable recommendation made after a public inquiry by a Standing Committee appointed under the Act. There is no such Order in force affecting wood flour.
