Darlingasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what capital expenditure was incurred by the local authorities of Edinburgh and Glasgow in their financial years ended 28th and 31st May, 1950, respectively, on the erection of permanent schools, temporary schools, and also what was spent on school furniture and equipment.
