§ 5. Mr. Powellasked the Secretary of State for War why he proposes to recall for training men who have joined and served in organised Reserve and Auxiliary Forces since the end of the late war.
§ Mr. StracheyOfficers of the Reserve and Auxiliary Forces who have joined since the end of the war are, on the completion of their service, transferred to the Regular Army Reserve of Officers or the Territorial Army Reserve of Officers. A limited number are being recalled in order that they may train with units in which they would serve in the event of mobilisation. Other ranks of the Reserve and Auxiliary Forces who have completed their service are not being recalled for training.
