HC Deb 23 April 1951 vol 487 c11W
94. Sir H. Roper

asked the Minister of Supply whether he will confer with representatives of the principal British mining houses as to what steps may be taken to ensure greater output of non-ferrous metals in Great Britain.

Mr. G. R. Strauss

My Department will be glad to discuss specific proposals, but I do not think a conference in general terms would serve any useful purpose.
